The REAL ashes test begins

The fortitude and endurance now required of the many people facing recovery from recent Australia-wide bush-fire devastation... simply dwarfs the much lauded heroics of professional flanneled-fools performing on our playing fields this summer.

But, will their coming ordeal attract the same level of breathless recognition? I doubt it.
