Game, set and match for Kim?

Whether or not Victorian state minister for police and emergency services Kim Wells could have contributed in a physical way to the fight against bush-fires rampaging thru the Grampians last Friday night is really immaterial. The question for the electorate is simply whether or not his judgement is appropriate to a person holding key ministerial responsibilities in state administration.

At the very least, his fitness to continue in his present role will be sorely tested by public opinion after his breath-taking decision to attend a tennis match when it was clearly obvious that a large out of control bush-fire was destroying property and menacing the lives and well-being of both ordinary constituents and emergency service personnel trying to protect them!

IMHO, certainly not a good look for anyone in a 'leadership' role!
