Two questions come to mind. Does anyone make New Year resolutions any more? If so, does anyone ever pursue converting such resolve into solid fact? Does anyone care anyway?
Hi rim! Like you, I've been wondering the usefulness of New Year's resolutions. I haven't made any this year - as opposed to the last several years, where I have made them, been happy with myself for keeping them for weeks, maybe months, but never the full year, then the inevitable disappointment in myself. So this year, none. And I'm not particularly disappointed that I haven't made them, either! It takes the pressure off, that's for sure :)
Good to hear from you KR. Hope all is well generally, resolutions notwithstanding. Personally,I have not consciously made one for many years... hence (as in the cartoon), I haven't failed to keep one either.
