GOT to GO!

On Friday, members of an over 50s, not for profit website titled GOOD OLD TALK (GOT) and based in Queensland, learned that the site will be closing down either on December 31., or early next year. I have been a member there for a number of years and, authored a daily-posted blog since Jan 2011  featuring my cartoons. The site claimed a fluctuating membership in the vicinity of 6 or 700 people for most of my time there ... a quite substantial audience.

Sad, but not unusual for 'talk'-sites largely operated with volunteer helpers.
