Slash and burn has turned its gaze on the N.B.N. Now, if we're very
lucky, in a decade or so we might end-up with a third-world version of
inernet technology already in use in places like South Korea and a number of countries in Europe.
I
can envisage special incentives being offered to encourage the growth
of customer connections to the whiz-bang Turnbull version of internet
access for all ... perhaps a free 1950s Bakelite black telephone
hand-set and a bottle of snake-oil to ease the pain of it all?
