Rememberence Day.

I don't object to children being taught the significance of the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month observation... as long as it's not accompanied by the reverence some people show for the alleged glory of war in general and the bloody mess of stupid futility which was WW1 in particular.

A studied detachment by children from the attempted purification of WW1, would be a healthy and intelligent attribute to be encouraged in developing young minds IMHO.
