Mr. Rabbit is reported to be looking at possible involvement of Australian ground troops yet again in Iraq.

Is it not possible for our politicians to grasp the lessons of previous interventions such as Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq itself?

They should be enforced to lead any further overseas military adventures in person! Being in harm's way themselves may belatedly instill some wisdom into their otherwise vacuous brain spaces?!
