Indian Giving?

I'm a bit late getting into this controversy... perhaps, because I'm not a denizen of Twitter or other social web sites.

My question is what are we supposed to do for India as a quid pro quo? Obviously, a presentation cricket bat or two endorsed by bowlers aren't going to 'do it'. And, a bit late for 'the Don' to step up to the crease.
