This is a caricature 'rough' circa mid-1990s of the well-known business executive who, among many other roles, was CEO of Australian Airlines (formerly TAA) during the late 1980s. He later held the same position with Qantas (1993-2001) after the two carriers were merged.
From his days with the domestic airline, he always wore bow-ties which became a sort of trade-mark nick-named the 'propeller'. Mr, Strong passed away during 2013.
