During the early 1990s I introduced a worm into my current affairs cartoons sporadically as a vehicle to add pithy ancillary comment to the subject in focus. It is a tool used by many 'toonies so I make no claim for it as an original idea. However, it has served me well over the years and deserves at least one accolade all to itself.
