This S.E. Asian fresh-water fish (Aka Climbing Perch) is reportedly on the
march (literally) toward Australia's north having already over-run Indonesia, then P.N.G. and now arrived on two Torres Strait islands under Australian jurisdiction. Apart from swimming, this creature walks on dry land, indeed can exist out of water for extraordinary periods of time. It is aggressive towards other fish species and not likely to be naturally controlled by other animal predators such as birds.
Another Cane Toad?
